Brand new to autoguiding, actually brand new to any type of computer assisted astro imaging. Anyway, was convinced to start autoguiding. So ordered a
ASI120mm-s guide camera.
Brand new to astro imaging. just got a new ZWO ASI120mm-s camera. Downloaded the ASI cameras driver. That seemed to work. Then per the instructions, I tried to download and install ASICAP. Computer said it installed v1.3.0.0. After clicking finish, I get a window saying:
This application failed to start because it could not find or load
the Qt platform plugin "windows".
Have no idea what that means. I have very basic computer skills. This is loaded on an old Windows Vista hand me down laptop.
Just trying to get started in autoguiding. No experience in computer assisted astro imaging. Do I need this for basic autoguiding??
