HP Laptop with WIN10

Had Asicap working in June by telling it to load under Win7. Used it to test image camera and guider (1600/290)

Don't remember what Ver of Asicap that was.

Now installed SGP / PHD2

Suddenly Asicap will not run

Decided to download latest Ver 1.3.0.0

When install started it asked if I wanted to remove previous install. I said Yes

When I start the install I get a message from ASICAP 1.3.0.0 Setup "error opening the file for writing (x86) ASICAP/ASICAP.EXE

At this point I am stumped.

I'm sorry that fail to find out the problem. I simulated your usage environment: HP Envy13 Laptop with WIN10, also, installed SGP / PHD2 , reinstall ASICAP Ver 1.3.0.0, then, run ASICAP, but it works well.
