Hello, I received the ASIAir and it is working well. However, I don't know how to configure Sky Safari to use ASIAir to control the mount. Any help would be much appreciated.

Nevermind, it is working now. :) Just had the wrong iOptron mount selected in Sky Safari.

with the AVX and Skysafari 5 Pro - just selected wifi

used the defaut 10.0.0.1 address

connected immediately - cross hairs on SF spot on ..... chose a target - slew - bang on!

Hi, i ordered my ASIAIR so i'm gonna receive it into the next days . About this gadget, I should note that ASIAIR has a USB-RS232 cable from the factory. However, all Celestron AVX mounts manufactured after 2016 comes by default with a mini USB port, which should be connected directly from ASIAIR to the Handbox.

Does this connectivity works without problems? or should I use the USB-RS232 cable (hence, also RS-232 to RJ12 cable) to connect to the aux port?
