AsiAir app is power hungry

I downloaded the app in anticipation of receiveing my unit when they ship later this month. I learned very quickly that the app drains the battery quite fast, even when turned off. I had to disable the app in my phone settings to stop the battery drain.

I was curious about this so I did a test with my iPhone 6. I couldn't reproduce the problem. 2hr 20m without any apps other than Timer running. ASIAir app simply installed. Phone still at 100%. With ASIAir app started but not connected to device, also still at 100% after 2hr 20m.

I installed the app on my Ipad and did not notice any increase in battery consumption.

actually, the APP is not need to keep open all the time. ASIAIR will keep working.

this is no longer an issue that I found (it did drain the battery fast but no longer after update)

Yes, it only happens with Android OS

ASIAIR app stills open despites you close the programn and an icon stills appearing into your Smartphone Taskbar. You should close the app from

Configuration / Apps / ASIAIR / Close program

I installed the app in your PM.

There doesnot seem to be a way to completely shut the app down once you activate it. I had to force stop it from my phone's app menu.

Users should be able to shut the app completely down regardless of whether or not running in the background is ok.

I only just installed the app yesterday afternoon. I will monitor my battery consumption today and see if it's improved.

Which way did you choose to close the app, pressed the Return key, , press the Home key or kill it from recent tasks list? Pressing the Return key should be the right way.

I've tried every which way to close it. The only way I found that works is going into the app menu and force stopping it.
