Guidance problems ASI 120MC with Phd2

Hi friends,

I've been a few weeks, with guiding problems with ASi 120MC and NEQ6 Pro mount, with PHD.

After several tests, I have come to a conclusion. The mount does not move to the west.I have tried in the PHD the manual guidance and I have also done the "Test star cross" to test the movement of the mount.

The conclusion, THE MOUNT DOES NOT MOVE TO THE WEST. :

With the hand control, the mount moves without problem in all 4 directions.

Does anyone know what it can be? :?: :?:

I have always used in the PHD profile "Zwo Asi camera" and the "On Camara" mount.

I tried another camera configuration in Phd, (windows WDM style webcam camera) but I do not see the camera model, only the laptop webcam.

Does someone know how I have to do it?

HI,

1, Please use the handle along with NEQ6 to test the movement of mount in four directions.

If one of them failed, i think the mount is broken, please ask the seller of mount to repair.

2, If the mount is OK, please connect the 120 with phd2. In PHD2, use manual control to test the four directions.

If one of them is not work, it should be the 120's ST4 port is broken.

3, If you have a multimeter, you can make a test.

in the chapter 6, it explained the definition of ST4 pin, when one of the direction works, the pin and the common pin would be short cut.

Before, it worked without problem.

According to appearances, the ST4 port of the camera is broken.

Please, where can I send the camera for repair in Spain?

I bought the camera in the UK, in Firstlightoptics.

About the post back, Please send an email to support(at)zwoptical.com.

Tell him "Chad checked, ST4 Port is broken, need send back to repair", and tell him your case, he will help you.

When you send out the camera, please add a note with the camera: "ZWO's Chad Checked, ST4 Port borken".

This note will help us quickly identify problems and repair it, so do not forget.
