Canon lens cannot focus to infinity

I have purchased two ZWO cameras: ASI294MC Pro, ASI290 mini and two EOS adapters. My plan is to use the cameras with Canon lens when I am not using the cameras with EdgeHD 8 telescope.

I have found that the ZWO cameras cannot focus to infinity with Canon lens as per the configuration specified in the ZWO manual (as shown below). If I remove the 11mm adapter and hold the eos adaptor against the camera, then the focus improves but still could not reach the infinity. In my guess, the EOS adapter should be shorter in length by at least 12 or 13 mm, then only I think we would be able to focus to infinity. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong and how do to use ZWO camera with EOS adapter with my canon lenses.

Ok, I have found the solution, the back gnarled part is removable and that shortens the adapter to the right length. That part was so tight that I first thought entire thing is turned out of the same aluminum block. It took me some effort to unscrew it. Now the EOS adapter is working fine
