I just received the ASIAIR yesterday. I spent a little time exploring last night. I am using it with the ASI294 pro.

I am new to AP/imaging, please forgive my "dumb" questions as I learn.

Can the Air be plugged directly into my TV with the HDMI port?

What is the mini jack next to the HDMI port for?

What is the Ethernet port for?

What is Mono Bin in camera settings?

Is Focus mode the only way to see a real-time image?

Does focus use the same exposure settings I set in preview?

Are the image files on the SD card readable on my tablet or PC?

How does the software use the focal length I entered? If I'm using a .8 reducer on my 480mm refractor, should I enter 380mm?

it's useful when you do narrow banding imaging with one color camera, it bins R G G B pixels into a mono one

no, they are different

connect ASIAIR to your router with the ethernet port or WiFi and visit \\ASIAIR

then you can copy the images

yes, it's useful for plate solving, you should always enter the actual focal length
