TheSkyX X2 driver does not install

Hi ZWO Team

I have TheSkyX installed on a WIN7 64Bit OS German language settings. Every time I start the ZWO X2 driver installer I get the message that I should install TheSkyX first.

Where does the installer look for the software? Why does it not install even TheSkyX is already installed? I have the latest Daily Build of TheSkyX installed and the camera ASI128MC Pro is not detected with the X2 driver that comes with it.

Any ideas how to resolve the problem? I would prefere to use the native driver not the ASCOM driver.

BTW: Sharpcap works without any problems.

Our x2camera plug-in will search this file before installation, if this file doesn't exist, installation will quit.

on Windows: <Documents>/Software Bisque/TheSkyX Professional Edition\TheSkyXInstallPath.txt

TheSkyX has to be run at least once before TheSkyXInstallPath.txt exists.

please check if this file exists.

the file was there when I was logged in as my regular user however it did only work out even I started the Installer as Administrator via the context menu. Only when I logged in as Administrator the installation worked out.

So I‘m fine for the moment but still wonder why it won’t work with admin rights only.
