ASI071MC Pro (color) - what temperature to choose?

Hi all -

New user here with ASI071MC Pro (color) as my very first astro camera. I've finally built my imaging rig and currently learning SPG Pro for my image acquisition but one thing that I can't seem to get clarity on is what to set my temperature to?

My ambient is about 60-50°F over the course of the imaging session. What should I set my camera temp to - what's the methodology and variables behind figuring these numbers?

Sean - thanks... to confirm, 30°C below ambient, regardless of what ambient temperature is? Is there a certain ambient temperature at which cooling down further isn't necessary?

I think should consider about the temperature in nights, check the weather report.

If the night temperature between 5-10°C , set the cooler to -20°C(absolute temperature) will be good. if set -30°C(target temperature), when the eviroment temperature is 10°C , the camera will not be able to cooling to -30°C(absolute temperature). will be a problem.
