When using ASICAP on a Windows 10 Laptop the software simply shutsdown after about 20 minutes. I am using a powered USB hub to insure the Laptop is not overloaded.
I have not had this issue with Fire Capture or Sequence Generator Pro. I have the latest drivers installed, latest Win 10 and the updated version of ASICap.
Is there a log file I can access to see if something shows up there?

your system is 32 bit or 64 bit,
the memory of your computer,
Is this problem accidental or persistent,
