Hello,
i am interested in a new astro camera and currently the ASI 1600 MM or ASI 183 MM are in my closer view.
The scope where the new camera should be used is a APO with 580 mm focal length (F/5.8).
I also got a 0.67 reducer for the scope which corrects the focal length to 388,6mm (F/3,8)
---
The ASI1600 with the scope will make a resolution from 1.4“/ pixel.
The ASI183 with scope and the reducer will make a resolution of 1,32“ / pixel.
Both resolutions are fine for me also the field of view looks more or less identical.
Now I am wondering which combination will perform better?
Maybe someone has a similar setup and can share some experience.
Kind regards
Alex
