Hi! I have heq5 pro mount and when I connect to mount via serial cable and use synscan there is no guide rate options. I saw that other mounts have that. And when I autoguide there is this "ticking" sound like it was pulse slewing at 1x speed although I have 0.25x guide rate set on hand control. Then I connected to st4 port on mount directly from camera and connected asiair to mount via on camerast4 and guiding had this normal "whistling" sound as it should be and it seems to be making corrections at proper speed.
It seem that guiding through synscan doesn't use guide rate lower that 1x speed or am I missing something. Still I don't get nice guide curve and no matter what setting I choose there seem to be the same elongated stars. There should be more settings for guiding and better manual for it.
What is baude rate for?
