ASCOM ASI Camera Driver Software

Hello, All.

I can't find the ASCOM ASI Camera Driver software discussed on this page:

anywhere on this site or on my computer. I have a Windows 10 i7 with an ASI183 cooled color.

You'll find it on https://astronomy-imaging-camera.com/software-drivers , "Windows", under the heading "ASCOM Drivers (optional", "ASI Cameras". The current version is v1.0.3.22.

Make sure that you have the ASCOM Platform installed before you install the ASI ASCOM Driver.

Thanks. I downloaded and installed that, but I can't find the executable to open the basic settings app found on this page:

I also notice on the pics on the above page that the title of the app is ASICamera Setup, and the version is V6.0.2.23, while the file you're pointing me to is V1.0.3.22.

When I install the ASI Cameras ASCOM Driver v1.0.3.22 software, at the end of the installation, it says I can launch it via the installed shortcut. I can't find any shortcut nor an executable in any ZWO or ASCOM folder that opens the ASI Camera Setup app.

What am I doing wrong?

In order to use the camera via ASCOM, you need a software for image acquisition that uses the ASCOM platform. There are different possibilities, widely used are e. g. Sequence Generator Pro (SGP) Astro Photography Tool (APT) and Nebulosity.

The camera setup then can be opened from the image acquisition software.

Sure I did:

The camera setup then can be opened from the image acquisition software.

Install an image acquisition software that uses the ASCOM platform. Start this software and set gain, offset etc. in the appropriate menu item (e.g. in SGP: Control Panel/Camera/Settings).
