How to debayer image taken with Y8 format

Hi,

I didn't used my ASI1600MC for some time and recently installed it a new computer. After a whole night working, I found all images taken were only B/W , having no colour, even I have debayered them with the usual method of GRBG in PixInsight. I later found the reason might be that I have accidentally changed the "Image type" on camera setup to Y8, instead of the normal RAW16.

I don't want to waste all images taken and would like to know if there a way to debayer these images taken in Y8 back to correct colour?

In ASICAP, on the right menu - capture , there is a option called RAW data, don't click it you will get color video or images.

In Sharpcap, there is a color space option called RGB24, will help you get color video or images.

But in DSO softwares, there is no such function, only support RAW16 format, need to debayer in post-processing.
