Sony E and MFT lens adapters

Hello,

Is there any hope of getting the Sony E or MFT lens adapters (ZWO-T2-SONY and ZWO-T2-M43) back to production? E.g. ASI294 or ASI071 would make a sensitive meteor and aurora cameras combined with a wide and bright manual lens, say Meike 6.5mm f/2.0. There are no similar lenses available for Canon or Nikon. Sigma 4.5mm f/2.8 comes close, but it has too much electronics and is fairly expensive. ASI-cameras with smaller sensors and lenses don't collect enough light to keep the shutter speed fast enough. Were there technical problems or just lack of demand?

I would be very happy to buy a new E-Mount lens adapters also.

I have the original version but it is a little loose. If a new adapter were to be made, would there be any hope of compatibility with the ASI071MC or would it be only the 1600/183 type cameras due to flange distance?
