Hi Sam,
Hi Sean,
Hi all,
New announcement from Sony Company for new CAMERA sensors here :
https://www.sony-semicon.co.jp/products_en/IS/sensor2/products/index.html
Most interesting are those :
- IMX299, 4.63 microns pixels, 4/3 size, 11 Mpixels, 60 fps max., BSI
- IMX272, 3.3 microns pixels, 4/3 size, 20 Mpixels, 60 fps max., FSI
- IMX571, 3.76 microns pixels, APS size, 26 Mpixels, 16 fps max, BSI
- IMX410, big 5.94 microns pixels, 35 mm size, 24 Mpixels, 19 fps max.,BSI
A stacked-BSI version of IMX183 is included : IMX383, faster than IMX183.
These are all rolling shutter as far as I understand.
And now THE QUESTION : do they plan any monochrome version of these sensors ?
IMX410 will be for sure a very very interesting sensor to consider : to summarize,
to my opinion a kind of upgrade of the 'old' IMX128. And a credible solution if
sensor of A7s is not released on the market .
Best.
