ASI174 and The Sky X - exposures below 4sec

Hello

I have a ZWO ASI174 connected to The Sky X for use as an autoguider. Running under Windows 10 Pro. The camera works fine as long as the exposure is 5 sec or greater. If I set the exposure to 4 sec or less the image is never downloaded but gives an error 209 indicating it timed out.

I have tried the last 3 driver versions you have provided here on your site. I am loading the windows ASI driver, the X2 driver and the ASCOM ASI driver.

From the camera setup in The Sky X it says I have Driver version 2.300, Device ZWO X2Camera Driver 18.7.31 and ASI SDK V1, 13, 0921

Can some one please tell me what i'm missing here? Or perhaps why this doesn't work? Other users on the Bisque site indicate it works for them, but I have confirmed on 2 different Laptops with a fresh install of The Sky X that the result is always the same. No image download if the exposure is 4 sec or less.

Hi Rich

Can you test it with SharpCap. SharpCap support both the native driver and the ASCOM.

So I need you to test the camera with native driver first, if it works fine, I think the camera should be OK. If not, please try to check the hardware, include USB port, cables, And try to change the USB bandwidth.

If the native driver is fine, please use the ASCOM in SharpCap to make a test. If it still works fine, I think it should be the problem of TheSkyX. If not, tell us, we will try to repeat it and find out what happened.
