frame drop

I've seen this discussed before but no resolution to problem. Have a ASI120mc. It works great on a windows 7 pro laptop but drops almost 100% of frames on Windows 10 systems. I have tried it on two new laptops with same results. Drivers current. Same cable as on Win 7 computer. I was going to use one of the new Win 10 computers as dedicated astronomy computer but can't get it to run. Does the same thing in Sharpcap and Firecapture. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks. EJ

How about turn down USB traffic, in capture software.

I set USB traffic as low as possible in Firecapture and camera runs but still dropping lots of frames. Video skips a lot. In Sharpcap 3.2 it drops almost all frames. I set the TurboUSB as low as it would go. That was the only USB setting I could find. Again, camera runs fine on older Win 7 pro computer. Any other ideas? Thanks. EJ

Not sure about this, it probably might be a competible problem. How about use our ASICAP?
