I was having a look to the cameras used in industry vision and I find this XIMEA reference using

a new sensor LUXIMA LUX160 16 Mpix, 3.9 microns pixels :

I've never heard about it before.

Maybe you could have more information on this sensor to know if it could be interesting

to consider forastrnomy use and why not be the next step after PANASONIC MN34230PL ?
