Using ASI290MM with kstars Ekos, 8 bit pixels, raw.
What is the formula for mapping pixel value (0 to 2^8-1) to the intensity recorded in the FITS file (signed double precision float)? Is there a general reference somewhere?

After learning about the fv viewer, I can see that the camera delivers just the integers retrieved from the ADC. My mistake. Which leads to another question which I'll ask separately. Thank you.
