question about material in 5 podition ZWO EFW

Hi,

I have just begun using my new ZWO EFW Mini. It works very well so far, but I have one concern I would like to ask you about:

The stepper motor depends on shaft friction with a rubber ring mounted on the filter wheel, for activation. Can you say anything about how well this will work at low temperatures (around 0 degrees C)? Most rubbers will be hard and stiff at temperatures like this!

That's "position" not "podition", of course.

Sam, let me try to ask as a more specific question:

Can the 5-position ZWO EFW be used successfully at temperatures around zero degrees Celsius?

I guess nobody else can answer this question. So I can be the first, if I can ever get my scope out at night long enough to test this :?: :(

It works well at ZERO degree, that's no problem.

I just used it last night during a long session at 21F (-6 Celsius) and it worked fine. So I am reassured :-)
