ASI Air - EAA Live stacking

Dear ZWO.

Please can you advise when you think Live Stacking for EAA will appear on ASI Air?

I am currently running one ASI camera and one from another brand and want to upgrade this to an ASI and to purchase ASI Air also.

Any idea when live stacking might be implemented? I got into EEA about a year ago with an ASI294MC camera (and then an ASI294MC-Pro) and was a little taken back by the fact that (Windows only) Sharpcap seems to be the only software available that implements live stacking. ASIAIR seems to have the potential to be the ideal platform for EEA, but live stacking is essential.

We are going to develop our PC live stacking software ASILive at first

then we will add this feature to ASIAIR

Agreed, what's the plan and timescale, please? As a Mac user, I'd really appreciate a version for the platform, and for iOS.

Are we talking weeks, months, years?

On All platform, first on Windows Mac and Linux (months), then on ASIAIR(hard to say).

WE could use it to live stack asiair image if we can access them on the SD after capture?

Definitely another vote for live stacking. Just ordered an asiair a couple days ago and looking forward to it! But would be great to have this capability sooner than later. More features, the easier it is to convert people to using mobile devices like this rather than lugging a laptop around.

I also look forward to live stacking being made available on ASIAIR. EAA is of more interest to me than traditional long exposure astrophotography with post processing.

I'm all for this!! ZWO used to distribute "AstroLive" but that software was discontinued. I'm struggling to find something that works on a Mac or (better yet) on my iPad.

I don't EAA for imaging... but when I do public outreach there are a lot of objects that the public can't visually spot through the telescope and this is where EAA would be awesome!

I have tried to download the beta for asilive and i am unable to get it to work on any of my devices. Windows 10 computer, samsung tablet. What am i doing wrong.

Yes, the LiveStack is under testing now. Will be available in v1.4 only on ASIAIR PRO.
