WiFi connection problem

I'm setting up the air for the first time and can't get connected to WiFi. When I power up, the red and green lights flash, but my iPad shows I'm connected to my 5Ghz network, but NO ASIAIR DETECTED. After a while, just the red light continues to blink. Any suggestions?

Not sure this will help. Powered up my new Asiair last week using a power supply for a cell phone. 12 volts but only 1.2 amps. The ASIair powered up, lights flashing but no Wifi signal after boot up. Used a power supply from my Raspberry Pi V2, ASIair powered up this time with Wifi signal. Could amps be an issue with yours? Voltage is one thing, amps is another.

Thanks for your reply. Since posting, I resolved the problem by switching power supply from power tank to the AC power supply of my cooled camera. Connected immediately. You were spot on and is a good thing to know!
