Sky safari and Celestron CGX

Sorry if it’s been covered before. But how do i get the asi air to work with SkySafari and my CGX mount? Everything works as far as capture goes but I cannot get the sky safari app to recognize and control the telescope. Thanks.

First, make sure the ASIair is properly conncted to your mount. Open Skysafari and goto settings. Choose SETTINGS-TELESCOPE. Choose the mount on top right for your mount under Equipement Selection. You have to make 2 choices, Scope type and Mount type. Below those choices you have Communications setting, choose CONNECT VIA WIFI. Make sure the ip address below that is 10.0.0.1, and the PORT is 4030.

Go back to Skysafari and choose SCOPE then press CONNECT.
