120MC on Raspian?

Hi,

I am not using an old 120MC I have, so thought I'd make use of it as a security camera. I've connected it to a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ running the MotionEyeOS image (Raspian). However, the OS is not recognizing the camera. I've upgraded the FW to the latest "Compatible" version. Do I need to install a driver on Raspian?

Hi Peter,

Very sorry.

We also meet this problem of 120MC with Rpi 3B+. We checked the problem, find it should be a USB hardware problem. The USB HUB of Rpi 3B+ does not recognize our USB2.0 camera at all.

Are they recognized on earlier versions of the Pi? Which ones?

120MC always have the compatibility issues with the Rpi on linux system.

beside that. according to my experience, different linux system version also have the different result.

So it is hard to say.
