ASI120mm USB camera image fault

I've had this camera for a few years and it has performed faultlessly.

However now I come back to using it after the Winter period and find the image is broken into the 'windows blinds' effect.

This is the USB 2 camera used on a USB2 port directly on the server at the end of a 3m cable.

I tested the cable before wiring it into my telescope loom and it was fine.

The high speed setting is set to off

the usb speed s set to low'.The effect happens for all image sizes and both 8 or 6 bit depth.

I connect it to a powered USB 3 hub and while recognised it fails to initialise and return any image.

I brought it indoors to try on my Lenovo Yoga 2 pro laptop. There it fails to return a USB descriptor connected to the USB 2 port with a short USB 2 cable and functions perfectly at 65 fps full resolution in FireCap 2.6 x64 when connected to my USB3 port on the same device, with the same cable.

Server is a quad core AMD Fx running W2KR2 x64 with 8GB ram.

Did you try another computer to run the camera?

I did try on two PCs, the one in the observatory and the one in the house, as described in the issue.

Is there any fault logging I can capture to look at ?
