ZWO Camera and Linux Motion

Hi there

Maybe thats something going to far to ask for (non-astronomy) but I wonder if it would be possible to use

my ZWO Asi 174MM mini together with linux "motion" capturing software. The problem

is that motion supports v4l2 devices but also RTSP

streams to detect motion. I guess Zwo camera to v4l2 is not trivial but what about RTSP?

How would one implement to create a rtps stream from the ZWO camera? Can this be done via opencv only

and/or with ffmpeg api ?

We haven't done anything like that.

But I think there is no need to use the opencv or ffmpeg. Because our SDK will send out the data stream, You should just package the data stream as per the RTSP protocol. Then it should work. For opencv or ffmpeg, they are using to show the data stream.
