ASI183MC-P amp glow

Yesterday I just got my new 183mc-p color camera...4-16-19

To my surprise it has Very Little amp glow ! Is this now normal,was there a change with the new batch of 183MC-P ?

Software or Hardware....?

My friends older 183mc-p (that I used)had a lot more ampglow….but my new one looks very good at the same settings and equipment use.

Bob, I emailed Vanessa at ZWO and here is what she said. Perhaps you can send them a dark like she suggested.

I don' think they have no amp-glow at all, and we do not have any firmware, hardware, software or driver change in these latest made ASI183 cameras

could you please ask your friends to send the dark frame to us, with conditions below

Unity Gain with ASCOM, -10 degrees, 300s exposure

we'd love to have a look at it ; )

I think we need the dark frames to measure the amp-glow level.
