Should I Formate the SD Card out of ASIAIR bevor Backup?

Hallo Guys!

When I try to Backup the SD Card used in ASIAIR Windows10 asks if I want the SD Card formated before using it. Should I do this or not?

Hi Michael,

No, you shouldn’t. If you format the card then Windows will wipe out all data on it which is exactly what you don’t want if you want to make a backup. Windows cannot read Linux file systems by default which is why Windows asks about this.
