HEQ5 guiding problems

Thanks Redsky,

I was going to try the beta, but never got around to it. I have purchased and am going to use a cable and the ASIAIR with the EQMOD driver, maybe on the weekend. It bypasses the handset and uses the ASIAIR as the goto database. You also don’t have to do a 3 star alignment. SkySafari isn’t able to connect this way yet but I have heard there is an update coming.

Check out AstroDad on YouTube, he gives some good info on his wows and finally success using an ASIAIR and HEQ5.

You guys might have just saved my life. I'm having the same exact issues you've been describing. If this is the answer I'll be 🤯.
