As the ASIAIR continues to be updated to a more and more powerful acquisition and control system, it would be very useful to have the option to select dithering to occur every X amount of frames, instead of every frame.
This would prove especially useful when taking many, many shorter exposures (often in the hundreds), utilising the abilities of these newer CMOS sensors.
Dithering for example every 3 or 4 exposures would minimise settling times between exposures and enable one to acquire all or most of those frames within a session, whilst still benefitting from the noise reducing properties of dithering when stacking.
