Lost camera after using fwtool

Hi,

Wanting to use camera under linux (on a raspberry Pi3B+), I want to flash it for use with the ASI120MM-compatible.iic

I used the FWtool but there was an error while flashing camera and now I can't retry to flash it. The camera isn't anymore recognize, I've got an error message when plugging it on different PC.

I tried it under linux debian with a tower PC and ubuntu with RPi3B+, none works.

I'm currently under Windows 10. When I plugged it I have an error message : unrecognized device.

In the device manager I see a yellow flag warning and property said (sorry it's in french) :

Windows a arrêté ce périphérique car il présente des problèmes. (Code 43)

Échec d’une demande de descripteur du périphérique USB.

In the details tab, I have :

ID of material : USB\DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE

Is there any hope to retrieve it ??

OK, first I want to thank ZWO support for help. They take remote control of my pc for diagnostic : the camera is definitely died with the use of fwtool.

So be advised that this tool is dangerous!

Yeah , did the upgrade before reading your post. Mine isn't dead , but i get a zillion hot pixels , which I can't get rid off no matter what i do (darks , gain ). I can no longer guide with phd2 ,since it pickups hot pixels as guide stars.
