I have a SkyWatcher ED100 refractor and a Coronado PST 40mm. I wish to add ZWO ASI cameras and are seeking advice on choice for planetary and solar/moon photography. For planetary viewing, I have pretty much settled on the ASI224 MC. For solar/moon, I am considering either the ASI385 MC or the ASI178 MC. For my PST their relative FOVs are ASI178 (76.6) and ASI385 72.2). For my SW 100mm refractor the relative FOVs are ASI178 (34.0) and A1385 (32.0). Since the specs are similar, I am uncertain as to which is best for me. Perhaps, there are other factors for me to consider. I would appreciate any helpful suggestions as to which of these cameras might be the better match to my interests.
