I am running v228 of ASIair and associated Android app. I discovered that I don't need SkySafari whatsoever for GoTo's, plate solving and Synching. In fact, after initiating a GoTo in SkySafari and then plate solving in ASIair, I get a button which says "Sync & GoTo". It's the only option and it syncs my mount to the target I selected. I can't go back to SkySafari until after Synching. By then the it's done and why do I need SkySafari? The catalog of targets inside ASIair is quite extensive and so far has all the targets I need. You Tube videos show different steps. I don't understand why.
