I have been using my ASI174mm for moon imaging through a Sky Watcher ED Pro 100 telescope (900 mm, f9). The calculated FOV for this set up is 51.16 arc min. In fact, when I capture the video image via FireCapture, the image does not capture the entire moon, but only perhaps 60-70% or thereabouts. I am considering adding a focal reducer with the hope that it would sufficiently increase the FOV for full moon viewing. Do you think this would work well and what brand of focal reducer might be a good choice? Thanks for any suggestions.
