Hi,

I have updated to the latest version of ASIAir via Android Play store.

I am unable to figure out how to connect my new CEM40EC mount to the ASIAir. I have tried via USB port on side of the mount and I have tried via USB to serial adapter to hand controller. I tried all the different iOptron models listed in the menu and I am unable to connect. I also tried updating the firmware on the mount with the same results. Any instructions on how to hook up the two together?

Problem was resolved by restoring backup version of ASIAIR and then installing latest update again. It now works fine

I have the same problem. Cannot connect to an ioptron cem40ec. Ioptron cem40 is not a choice of mount in the menu displayed by my app.

Could you explain how to update the asiair to the latest firmware? Is a Windows PC required?

Thanks. I will try that. I presume they have instructions on how to go about doing this.

Following up for completeness. I use an iPad, so this is iOS specific, but something similar should work for other platforms. On the iPad (or iPhone), one installs TestFlight (from Apple app store).
