1st gen ASI174MC-Cooled back focus

Hi.

I have one of the first run of the ASI174MC-Cooled and it has a different front that the current ones (that's the version with a ST4 port and no USB hub on it). It looks like on this first version the back focus was 19mm or 19.5 mm and not 17.5 like the current ones. Can you confirm this.

Is there an option to get the front replaced to get me a 17.5mm as this is currently preventing me from reaching focus with the Astromechanics ASCOM Canon Lens Controller Mark II ( https://astromechanics.org/ascom.html ) and it's built for 17.5mm camera.

No, the version before that one, the one that had a ST4 port and no USB2 ports (hub).

Well... this doesn't seem to be the case based on my tests.

I looks more like 19.5mm on this early model as I can focus with the Astromechanics ASCOM Canon Lens Controller Mark II as it expect the 17.5mm back focus and I can clearly see it would need to be closer to the camera by another 2mm to be able to properly focus at infinity.

So , as asked in my initial post, is there an option to get the front part replaced for one that is 2mm shorter ? (so that I can actully get 17.5mm of back focus)

I am sorry to tell you that the first generation of 174MC-cooled camera is discontinued, we do not have parts in stock.
