Hi there. I am recently new to the ASIAIR and have downloaded the beta version for the PA feature.
I am using an iPhone / iPad to operate the ASIAIR, when I change from 'preview' to 'focus' i don't have a focuser yet I assume this is where you use it only if the EAF is connected to the asiair is that correct?
I haven't got the EAF yet but I was trying to get the stars in focus using a bahtinov mask and was able to do that more easily in the preview routine by adjusting the lens/scope focuser and was able to pinch zoom on my iPhone/iPad to see the stars bigger on my screen but I can't pinch zoom to magnify in the 'focus' routine is that normal?
So if I don;t have a EAF yet I don't use the 'focus' routine is that right? Just have to use the preview and a bahtinov mask to manually adjust the focus and take images each time to check? If so is there a continous preview where I don't have to keep pressing the button to take a shot instead?
