Hello,
I have a third-generation ASI1600MM-cool that has worked reliably for most of the last two years. I also have an ASI174 mini that I use as a guide camera. Lately, I have been getting errors from the ASCOM driver (sometimes from the 1600 and sometimes from the 174) that result in dropped frames and ultimately failure of the imaging session. The errors are intermittent. I may go an entire night or two without an error, but last night I got many.
I am using Starkeeper Voyager automation software. Other hardware in use includes a ZWO EFW filter wheel and an ASI174 mini guide camera. The ASI1600 Is using the ASCOM camera 1 driver and the ASI174 is using ASCOM camera 2. USB traffic for both is set to 40. I have a USB 3.0 cable running to the ASI1600 . The filter wheel and guide camera have short USB cables running from the built-in hub in the ASI1600.
Here is the error from the Voyager log file. The error seems to be coming from camera 2 (ASI174) this time:
ASCOM.ASICamera2.Camera ImageArray Get System.OutOfMemoryException: Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program.
Any ideas about what might be causing this?
Thanks,
Glenn
