Hi,

Faced with a very unhelpful message on first connection of the DSLR to ASIAIR (Can’t stop immediately, please wait seconds), we waited.... and waited...

Solved the problem by :

1. Set iPad to airplane mode.

2. Set iPad Hotspot to NEVER.

3. Connected iPad to ASIAIR 5G.

4. Check Nikon WiFi is OFF.

Works perfectly, for example 60 secs preview gives 60 secs exposure.

Note to ZWO: download of 26 Mbyte NEF for each preview is unnecessarily slow. Why not shoot preview in NEF + JPEG and download only the JPEG to ASIAIR?

Hope this helps anyone with the same issues.

Hi,
I had similar issue, I found that swapping cameras (I used the guide camera as primary/main) and taking a few shots solved the issue.

I think the issue may have occurred due to the shutter cable snagging (it’s quite short) but now I’ve got a longer cable.

On different topic, In my case I see only upto ISO 800 in the app, do you have similar experience?

Hi Sir, Thank you for sharing.

Under the "About - Release Log" section, you will find the setting tips in v1.0.9 row:

Shooting Mode: M

Shutter Mode: Bulb

Image Format: RAW (Only, not RAW+JPEG)

Image Quilty: L (Largest)

Additionally, turn off any power-saving feature of the camera that might cause it to hibernate or sleep. Turn off Noise Reduction, Mirror Lock settings in the camera. Also, WiFi should be disabled.

About the Preview, I will cc your msg to the team and wish they can optimize it.
