Same here CPC1100. Since I’m new to the setup I thought it was an issue with the mount. Relieved it’s just a bug that sounds like it should be fixable.

Same here, waiting for the new update, continual problems with guiding. The ASIAIR Pro is a fantastic product, just this guiding issue. Interesting that dovber90 mentioned above to switch to RA only, might try that while ZWO fix the issue (hopefully).

Same here. Guiding worked fine with my CGEM II prior to 1.5. Seen a couple of workarounds that seem to help me some; make sure your slew rate is set to 1 on the preview page. Also calibrate each time you setup a new auto routine.

Still having problems with polar align as well but that's not new in 1.5. When the ASIAIR Pro commands the scope to move 60 degrees it goes haywire and will crash it into the mount if you don't stop it. I've had to "manually" polar align with it since I got it a few months ago. 1.5 didn't fix that issue with some Celestron mounts.

I have a specific problem with one camera only with guiding and latest 1.5 app version, on Android. Asiair pro firmware 6.7.6. The asiair pro wont allow me to use guide or loop exposures of longer than 1 second. If I choose 2 seconds or longer it allows me to choose the exposure but then stops capturing and does nothing for several seconds ,and then eventually comes up with a capture failed error on the guiding screen of the app. I can do the longer exposures with an asi290mc as the guide cam. It is just the ASi174mm that is giving this problem. It is an asi174mm, not an "asi174mm mini". I am pretty sure I have successfully used longer guide/loop exposures than 1 second in the past with my asiair and the asi174mm.

morrienz Also is there a binning option for guide cams in the asiair app? I don't see one, but I am guiding at long focal lengths and would like to try brightening the guide cam image by binning.

morrienz Are you still having this issue? I'm encountering this now, on the latest AAP firmware, months after your post. It seems like ZWO didn't fix it.

Just going to add my voice to the chorus. I guide with the ZWO OAG and the ASI120MM-mini on an AVX and since the v1.5 upgrade, guiding's gone nuts. Fiddling around with aggressiveness or steps is not helping. This was never the case with v1.4. I love having autofocusing, but the guiding issues mean I lose ~ half my exposures.

Just started using the ASIair Pro and I can't get it guide either. RA fails and the movements are huge. Saw this and went back to regular PHD guiding works a treat. Of course now I can't dither unless somebody can tell me how to do that with PHD. Looking forward to a fix. Otherwise absolutely love the product.

I also have guiding issues but with the Eq6r mount. It does not go crazy but is very inpredictable. Starts wells the. A few minutes goes to 2-4 then go back to acceptable (less than 1)
this did not use to be that way before. I was getting consistently less than 1.
I also like the ASIAIR pro for its simplicity but this guiding issue is a real problem. A quick solution would be greatly appreciated. The slew speed set to 1 does not solve the problem.

I agree and i think that is impossibile that if there's a problem we could not roll back and we need to wait the ZWO fix the problem.
Suggestion for ZWO: change your tester ...
