I have recently upgraded to the latest version of ASIAIR pro. I like the autofocus but since have a lot of problem with the guiding which I did not have previously.
Here is my system: EQ6R, William Optics GT71 with the William Optics 50mm guiding scope. ASI290MM for guide, ASI2600MC for imaging. Everything is well balanced and PA is marked as good (seems pretty effective).
I used to have around 1" to 1"5, I am now getting huge variations going to 3,4,5" then coming back to something around to below 2". I did not have such variations before. I can clearly see the tracking struggling on the iPad.
I haven't paid much attention before to the parameters Calibration Step (2s), Max DEC duration (2s), Max RA duration (2s). My focal for the guide is correct 200mm (50mm/F4). I am also doing dithering of 5 pixels. Stability
2" Settle Time 5s
Am I doing something wrong here?
By the way, Can somebody explain to be the calibration Step/MaxRaDuration/MaxDecDuration?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Eric
