Binning and Polar Alignment

Can I change the binning used for polar alignment?
What binning is used for PA?

StevenEvan During altitude and azimuth adjustment, the Polar Alignment plate solve is very fast even for a camera with large sensors, so I suspect the ASIAIR may only be downloading a smaller ROI that it really needs. As such, there is no need to use binning to get any faster download speed. Just stay with a unity bin ratio (highest resolution), and it might give you a slight edge in precision.

I'm sure you're correct in most cases. However, I'm using the south celestial pole for PA, and for me that is above a large city, so difficult to see. I get poor success plate solving in PA. I was hoping to improve SNR if I could select binning for PA.
