rac ASCOM driver V6.5.14 does not support it yet. we will release the new version asap.

In addition, do you use Norton browser extensions or the Norton program? If it is the former, what browser do you use?

It was the Norton program. Download was actually OK, the dlls were deleted as son as I unzipped tte downloaded fike.

I just upgraded to the ZWO EAF Firmware 3.3.8 and I still cannot go beyond 60,000 steps. What am I missing some other software update?

c-sanders1 Need to set the max steps in the advance settings to 600000 first.

It seems so hit or miss to me - I used the C 9.25 with my older ASI294MC Pro the other night and the system did not act up once I got prime focus.

I put on my ASI2600 Duo and I got focus on the comet after a short while, but it would not focus successfully on any of the other targets I tried.

Shame because it is supposed to be clear and tepid which is odd for November.

abaylus For SCT, you can set a larger AF steps, which will improve this issue. Try a value around 100 and refer to the V curve to adjust it.

I am looking at making these adjustments in the next clear night. Increasing fine and coarse steps and backlash. Fine is now 15. Coarse is now 65. Backlash is new set to 155. Based on examples I saw online.
Do you have a sample of setting ranges which people have success with? Perhaps a better understanding of the proper setting for the EAF should be written.
I did just upgrade to the new firmware which helps with the limitation of the range of the EAF.

How is the best way to determine what the best/correct settings for Fine and Coarse - just make Fine and Coarse larger and larger until it is too much - and then move it back.
I saw that you can calculate Backlash - using the hand controller. Every click is Backlash times 10 (5 clicks is backlash 50).

my specifics - from end to end it is 233,383.
I set my current position to 300,000, so I have a lot of play.

I will try setting Fine to 100, coarse to 500 leave limit at 600000 and just ignore backlash for now.
Is there any relationship between the two setting - like coarse should be 5 times larger then fine?

Supposed to be clear later this week, so I will try it out.

abaylus Sorry for the late reply.
Fine and coarse steps only related to manual adjustment, AF does not use these value.
You need to enter AF settings to adjust the AF steps to 100 or other values.
