You do not.
You do not need the iNova no more with ASIAir pro.
You station your CEM40 while at zero position, levelled and properly facing Polaris.
Then you switch on ASIAir (so zero position is now considered Park position by ASIAir).
You do a 10 sec preview, rough Focus.
Then you do a Polar alignment (PA) with ASIAir.
if you have an EAF focuser, you can ru an AF (Autofocus) sequence prior to PA.
Once PA is done and calculated, your ASIAir knows where your mount is.
That's it.
If you have "autocenter" activated, ASIAir will automatically platesolve after each GoTo to ensure target is centered on sensor.
I have a CEM40, I never used star alignment.
With N.I.N.A, PA with iPolar, with ASIAir, PA from app.
