I tried yesterday a connecting the mount to a friends ZWO 1600 USB hub instead of directly to the AAP. In theory, the connection to the mount should be "packed" within the camera's USB 3.0 signal.
I had partial success: GEM45 (my case) it is not a stable connection, but connects. Selecting CEM 70 brings better results but still disconnects, main difference is that I can (sometimes) sync to the mount, something is tricky to do if GEM45 is selected instead. I had been advised to get an unpowered USB hub, which effectively does the same.
