Is there any plan for developing on-axis guiding with the ASIAIR pro? That would be helpful for the detailed measurements needed in exoplanet observing.
there should be no difference with on-axis guiding and off-axis guiding right?
@Sam@ZWO#43530 Thanks. I'm not sure that there is, because both involve using a "mirror" to separate the imaging train into guide and image cameras. I think the main problem will likely be getting the back focus right. Am I correct?
mfschmitz yes, on axis guiding need a very long back focus distance, too few customers need it
