I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere but can the filter wheel accept unmounted and mounted filters at the same time? That is when you have unmounted filters that are secured by the washers and screws are you still able to thread a mounted filter?

Why must all of the filters be the same, mounted or unmounted? Why can't you use a combination of mounted and unmounted?
Half of the screws that would hold the unmounted filters will encroach on the spaces required by screw in filters. it is a bit of a puzzle, but I think you could use up to 4 mixed filters without conflicts.
