@tech@zwo#44417 i have the EdgeHD 8“ and an EAF. The EAF fits perfectly with the appropriate adapter plate. I only have issues with the autofocus routine in ASIAir Pro with this specific scope: Celestron tells on its website to finally rotate the focuser CCW (counter-clockwise) to prevent that the mirror shifts because of gravity. I can do that manually but it seems the autofocus routine of AAP does not do that automatically, so after a while, the stars get out of focus again. I would love to have autofocus on that scope because i don’t want to manually refocus every half hour. Am i doing something wrong or is there a solution to this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.

+1 for AstrodDude42's comments. It seems that the EAF doesn't work properly with the SCT due to the final step. I can see it calculate the proper curve but it never finds the right focus point due to the issue above. I think the system needs to include an over shoot value on the final step so the focuser turns the focus wheel counterclockwise past the focus point and creeps up to it from the counterclockwise direction.
