A problem with ASCOM driver v6.5.14

There seem to be a problem with the new driver v6.5.1.4. Here's the description:
1- I downloaded ASCOM driver for ASI Cameras v6.5.1.4. I'm using MaximDL. I'm using ASCOM 6.5SP1 platform. Everything was working well up to driver v6.5.1.3.
2- I setup the camera ASCOM driver correctly and chose the Unity Gain and associated offset.
3- When I connect the camera, I get 4 message windows regarding the offset followed by a connection window with an editable offset value of -1. Whether I fix the value manually or not, the error messages continue.
4- When I start shooting with the camera, I get 2 consecutive messages regarding the offset then an error message.
5- The above errors repeat in every single frame afterwards.
6- Please see the attached 8 screen shots in the order of appearance of messages.

I did re-download and reinstall ASCOM 6.5 SP1. Still the same error.

This is related to the driver v6.5.1.4 only, which is the currently posted driver on your website. It happens on all my 3 computers with 3 different ASI cameras.

If I reinstall driver version v6.5.1.3, everything works normal again.

There's something wrong with 6.5.1.4.

Please review again and advise correctly, as your previous assumption of the ASCOM Platform version is wrong.

I agree with the original poster.

It makes the driver virtually impossible to use because of these "popup" debug messages shown in the first post. I also do not understand the change log entries. Can you be a little more descriptive of the changes? Please fix the driver code and remove the debug messages.

Hi,

I have also a problem with MaximDL am my ASI6200MM and MC. When I try to shoot I get the message:
"Error starting exposure
Could not set subframe or bin ASCOM properties.

Is there a help?

You may want to try the currently listed driver. It did fix the problem I reported earlier. Please post your result after you install the new driver v6.5.1.5

When I use APT it works fine. The fault is only with MaximDL!

1- First, you must setup the ASCOM driver as you had done in the past. Make sure it is V6.5.17.1. Photo1
2- Once the the camera is connected, you must add the Offset value manually in the new little pop up window. Photo2
3- If you don't add the offset manually and leave it as -1, you will get the error you described. Photo3

Were I can download the 6.5.17.1 Version? I only see the version 6.5.1.5!

It works. Sorry I havent done a test. Can you change the behavior si I have not to set the offset every time I connect to the camera?
